Since its establishment in 2005, A Gender Agenda (AGA) has made significant achievements in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of intersex, transgender and gender diverse people, their friends, families and allies.

AGA is keen to do more to promote the well-being and rights of people with intersex variations. This position will be responsible for engagement with and of the intersex community and for the management of a number of community development programs and activities to support and engage intersex people and their friends, family and supporters in a safe environment.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of intersex issues, experience in community development, good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.

This is a part-time position which is based in Canberra. The position is initially being offered as a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension subject to funding. Flexible working arrangements and salary sacrifice are available.
