For Health Professionals

A Gender Agenda works collaboratively with a range of medical and mental health professionals.

Mental Health Professionals

A Gender Agenda has established a professional network of mental health service providers to provide peer support for professionals wishing to improve their understanding of issues related to intersex and gender diverse clients. Some members are currently, knowingly, working with such clients while others are wishing to improve their skill set and knowledge base in order to be more responsive to future clients. If you are interested in joining this network, express your interest by emailing us at counsellornetwork@genderrights.org.au

Other Health Professionals

A Gender Agenda works collaboratively with a range of other health professionals including GPs and specialists. We have already established good working relationships with a number of ACT-based practitioners, and are keen to extend this work. We can provide information and other assistance if required, and we are also keen to work with practitioners to work together to provide holistic services to intersex and gender diverse individuals andf their families.

Information Pack

A Gender Agenda has produced an information pack called Navigating Diversity which contains information for transgender, gender diverse and intersex communities and service providers.
