Peer Support Services

A Gender Agenda values the role of peer support as an important part of our broader support and advocacy services.

A Gender Agenda facilitates a range of informal peer support services for people who are intersex, trans, or gender diverse and their family members.

Support can occur via our online forums, at our weekly Wednesday drop ins and by 'buddying up' with community members who are happy to catch up for a coffee and have a chat every now and then.

We are in the process of establishing more formal peer support structures which will include training, induction, support and debriefing for peer support volunteers. If you are interested in participating in, or accessing these services, please contact us on (02) 6162 1924 or send an email directly to our support co-ordinator.

Please also contact us if you would like peer support but don't feel like our current focus areas of support adequately meet your needs.
