Encampment is an inclusive and fun space for young LGBTIQA+ people to gather and gain social support and build their social connections.
The aim of Encampment is to bring local LGBTIQ+ young people together, to support participants to navigate their gender identities and sexualities, and strengthen their connection to the community. Encampment also aims to expand young people’s skill levels, confidence and self esteem through a series of workshops, activities and presentations. You’ll get to hang out with community, participate in awesome activities, and have a full camp experience.

To ensure this event is completely free and accessible for young people, we are calling on the community to help us to cover the costs for every young person to attend. This means we can create the best opportunity for every young person. To make this as accessible as possible, we have a series of options for donations.
A Gender Agenda is officially registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission as a Health Promotion Charity. As an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient, donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Any support you provide will be gratefully accepted.
