TRAINING
Three Hour Workshop
This workshop is delivered by ACT’s leading trans, gender diverse, and intersex peer support organisation and is for schools and other youth settings who are looking to develop the skills and awareness necessary for delivering gender-inclusive services.
We will explore the basic concepts of sex (bodies) and gender as well as the language and terminology used within the trans and gender diverse community and intersex community. Participants will also be introduced to the Australian research around the mental health and care pathways of trans, gender diverse, and intersex young people and will develop basic strategies for supporting our community in a variety of youth-service contexts.
